DiabloSport Predator Programmer 5.7/6.1

I've been reading alot of different release dates for the upcoming Predator programmer so I got the scoop today. Diablosport would like to have this available by the end of July/beginning of August. They are working on tuning "LX" vehicles now.

Besides the standard program that comes with the tuner, parameters that can usually be modified by the user are -

WOT Spark Advance Table (+/- 10%)
WOT Fuel Table 2000 to 4000 RPM (+/- 15%)
WOT Fuel Table 4000 to redline (+/- 15%)
Idle RPM (+/- 20%)
Global Mass Air Table (+/- 30%)
Rear Oxygen Sensor Configuration
MIL switch (check engine light)
Exhaust Temperature Controls
Speed Limiter - disable or enable
Rev Limiter
Electric Fan Temprature Controls
Shift Timing - MPH and Engine RPM
Global Spark Adder (+/- 10 degrees of timing)
Re-Calibrate Speedometer for gear and tire size changes
Traction Control

These parameters should carry over to the Hemi tuner. I expect this to be priced the same as the other Predators. They are $399.99. We also include free overnight shipping.

It's a little to early to start taking pre-orders right now. I don't want people to have a long wait if the release date gets pushed out. Diablosport thinks they can get them out in time through. We've had some customers ask us to keep their info on file and contact them as the release gets closer so we're going to give everyone that option. Just send an e-mail to tbyrne@tbyrne.com and put Hemi Predator in the subject. We'll contact you when the time gets close and see if you would still like to order one of these. We already have a pre-order in so there will be a bunch of them coming in after the release.

P.S. When you get a chance can you explain "Global Mass Air Table (+/- 30%)". Because we are a speed density system this takes the shine off the apple so to speak.

Which helps lead to the belief this is more B.S. and hype than anything real. The first post about the new Diablosport Predator tuner was posted here in July of 2005.

those are not features for the Hemi, he posted what is common on the Predator for other vehicles...

Not flaming Tbyrne at all. He's just repeating what he's told.

It's the "vaporware" promises that annoy me. People from Diablosport have been "leaking" information about upcoming tuners for our cars for 24 months. I'm just alerting newer members that what you see here today is no different than claims made 24 months ago.

I, too, in reading between the lines, see things that speak of future disappointment for SRT8 owners. Key word here is USUALLY.

Having used DiabloSports products before, and having used S/C Flashpaq today, I will not hesitate one second to purchase DiableSports tuner for our cars. The tuner made by Flashpaq is just too buggy for me.

PM me if you would like to buy my Flashpaq tuner. It will be 'cheap' (like under $100).

I am so fed up with S/C and I was spoiled having the Predator for my other vehicles... this will be a great end to the summer...

When I called Diablosport yesterday I tried to get a fairly firm date for the release of this tuner. The person I spoke with said the end of July/beginning of August. I then asked if that was a real date or an automotive date. He noted that this was supposed to be out awhile ago and that they are going full out to have it finished and on the market as soon as possible. I think they will be pretty close to the timeframe that was set. At least I hope they are
