Arrow Another dumb question..

ok.. well my wandering mind has stumbled across this, and im almost sure it wont work, but i figured it was worth a shot.

is there any way to make this work in my car? i have the 2.7 without the bumpshift. I want it. just wondering if anyone knows if it could be done.

i dont have anything useful to add, but at $20 if it doesnt work, you have an amusing desktop toy, once you get a shift knob.

I have actually been thinking the same thing. I always thought it was something internal (valving etc) that made the difference and that the shifter face was just there to look pretty. My 05 came with the standard D, 3, 1 trans. but the 06 and on have the autostick thing.

no, because the pins in you car arent populated, so they wont receive the bump shift signal

not likely.. since it is designed for a 5sp not a 4sp....

additionally the autostick is can bus controlled, chances are your TCM does not have the programming, given that you have the wrong transmission.
