Ok I have searched all kinds of threads, and I have been in this situation with my other 300c. I got a Magnaflo exhaust on my C and removed it after 3 days.
Now I have the SRT8 and I thought it was more sporty and needed a deeper sound. I added 3" tubing cat back (not me but the Pro Muffler shop) and 2 50 series Flowmaster Mufflers and 3.5" tips from Jones.
50 Series HD - Three Chamber Mufflers
Another addition to Flowmaster's product line is our 50 Series™ H.D. muffler. It is Designed primarily for today's higher horsepower trucks such as the Dodge HEMI. This muffler will perform well on various vehicles when a deeper, more aggressive tone is desired. This new muffler features a 4.00-inch internal design, which is ideal for trucks with modified engines. It is built from 16 gauge aluminized steel and comes with various inlet/outlet configurations.
Ok on the outside it sounds amazing at idle literally can barely hear it when on throttle getting up to speed but at 2300-2600 rpm OR SO, it sounds so bad inside the car. I mean bad to where I don't want to hit the gas any more at that same rpm level.
WHAT CAN I DO TO ASSIST? OR FIX? I have thought of adding a resonator (glasspack) or maybe even a car audio fix called Dynamax with heat shield its like a sound deadener I was thinking of adding it to the undercarriage or ....... remove the exhaust and go bak to stock. I LOVE THE SOUND I PROMISE YOU... At start its perfect, at idle awesome, getting on it is good too. HELP

I had a similar problem, terrible noise at 2000-2500 rpm after a resonator delete, so I promptly ordered the Corsa exhaust. The resonator delete sounded great at idle and WOT, but at regular cruising it made my ears want to bleed. There is something to be said about factory tuned exhaust.
