Question Fuse #11... Yeah I know there are other threads on this

This could be posted in general questions as well, but since it relates directly to the installation of performance upgrades, I decided to put it here.

I have read ALL of the Fuse #11 threads (it took almost a day!) and I am not positive that I understand. I am taking my 2006 300C into the shop for a Corsa exhaust and AFE stage II intake.

It is my understanding that my installer should pull fuse #11 AFTER installing these parts but BEFORE starting the car for the first time after install. Is this correct? Any recommendations / cautions?

Procedurally, all he has to do is pull the fuse, wait 15 seconds and put it back in to clear the PCM and allow the car to "learn" the characteristics of the new equipment.

That it?
