Need Help - Differential Leaking

Help!

I noticed oil on my garage floor underneath the differential. I have a Quaife LSD. When the guys at Arizona Differential in Phoenix installed the unit, they said they had a difficult time finding the axle seals.

For the 5.7, we can get any of the OEM parts from MOPAR. With the 6.1, the manufacturer does not give parts breakdown and wants to swap out the entire rear end assembly.

I think my rear seals may be leaking. Does anyone know where I can source some new ones. I heard someone mention from Mercedes - Benz.

Any info will be appreciated.

aren't the rear ends in these cars out of an E class mercedes? not the current one, but the last vintage.

i don't know about mercedes, but the chrysler/dodge/jeep parts lookup system is fantastic. i was in a dodge dealer and the guy behind the parts counter pulled up pictures of every part i was looking for. i bet mercedes has similar software. if so, go to a mercedes dealer and identify (by looks) the correct E class differential.

yep

the Merc network can help. Ask for 215mm ring gear parts. They'll know what it's for and I'm sure the seals are the same.

Good luck!
