Knocking

I have been playing around with my FlashPaq and decided to put the 91 Octance settings on. I have heard that in Australia Octane is calculated differently so even people running the 98 Octane fuels get knocking using the 91 settings. I decided to try it anyway but need to know how I can tell if it is knocking. I have seen posts from people saying that with the 300c you won't always hear if it is knocking like you do with other cars. Is this the case? Do I need to check this a different way or can I safely assume that no noise is good noise?

Your best bet is to wait for a very hot day and do some WOT runs.
If you don't hear any pinging/knocking in this extreme condition than most likely you are OK on the cooler days.
Flashpaq's Data Acquisition can monitor Knock Retard. Unfortunately the Knock Retard capture does not work. Superchips says they are aware of this bug in their tuner and says they will fix it someday.
Knock Retard would be very helpful in determining if your car is knocking.
