When I had my 5.7, I had the Borla Cat back with Mopar LT Headers, and DUB CAI. This combo gave me NO Drone and sounded just awesome.

Enjoy it as it is a great choice. I also wonder, if you install headers, you may get rid of that slight drone.

You know, I believe if it were not for all the hype on here about the drone , that if I had not been listening for it, I probably would not have even noticed it. But I have not put on headers, yet, still debating. Right now looking for high flow cats.

Most Long Tube headers will come with high flow cats.

JimmyBamSlam, to answer your question, the MOPAR cat back is Corsa for the 6.1 and Borla for the 5.7.

Hello All,

FYI: To the best of my knowledge the 5.7L Mopar exhaust is made by Borla, and the 6.1L is made by Corsa. Keep in mind that when Borla makes private labled exhausts for other companies (i.e. Mopar, TRD, etc.) you do not get their 1,000,000 mile warranty.

The 140112 is a great system for those wanting a nice punch of power, a great sound and minimal drone. A similar system to the 140112 is the Volant. Like the Borla, it comes with the x-pipe, it's made of T-304 S.S., 4 mufflers, practically zero drone, and it's hundreds of dollars less than the Borla.

Big sale going on with the Borla/Corsa/Volant/JBA exhausts. Those intersted just PM us with your engine size, shipping zip and product(s) interested in.

Thanks in advance,

John

Glad you're lovin' the BORLA. I snagged the Borla also. I must say I love the more aggressive growl. See you in SD!

im pretty much sold on the Borla as well, but above mentioned is that the Volant system is very comparable, but much cheaper? I love the sound of the Borla, but how does the Volant sound? if possible can someone link me to a clip or video of the volant exhaust on a 5.7 300C? id appreciate it. sorry if im jacking the thread.

No sounds clips that I know of, but here's a link to the install and viewing the exhaust as well: Cool Cat Mag

Note the link to our site as mentioned in the article. Check us out.

FYI: Asanti, if you're interested in the Borla, we've got that on Special during our Exhaust Month Sale (in stock as well). PM for details.

I have requested that some of those who've already purchased the exhaust provide us with some sound clips, but nothing as of yet.

Hope that helps, even if just a little.

Talk to you soon,

John

I checked out the site and it looks nice, but we really need to hear it. I'm sure there would be a lot more hype over the volant if we could really compare it to the borla.
