Volant Exhaust Installed!!!

Hey Party People.. Got another CHECK on my mod list. Put my purdy Volant Exhaust on last night.

Install was a breeze. Everything fits together perfectly. Only problem is that the X pipe, and main mufflers (look almost identical) must go on a certain way for perfect clearance, and the instructions fail to point that out. Had to switch the canisters, and then turn the X pipe around to clear that frame brace. But all in all, it was a great night working on the car.

Performance, I haven't driven it much, but seems to have a bit more pep. Need to get it out on the freeway later today.

Sound - This thing is very subtle. I wouldn't recommend this system for those who want to get a lot of sound out of their sled. You can hardly tell when you start the car and at idle. It has a mild drone just starting out. As soon as I get on it at all, all I hear is the Volant CAI. I'm very happy with this system for my needs and would recommend it for anyone who wants a bit more quiet system.

Finish, this thing was beautiful right out of the box. Every bit of surface hand polished and the welds are dead sexy. I love the way the tips look pokin' out the back. They have that Cat Eye shape. Was planning on getting a nice shot of the whole system, but it got dark..

Next is Sway bars and Mopar 1" lowering springs!!!

Haven't had a chance to clean the greasy prints off.. Sorry...

Sexy tips.

And the CAI

Looks great, and I saw it on sale for 600... Can u check out the droan at 2500 rpm when holding a crusing speed? I am thinking this might be a nice option.

Great, right after I install this thing, it drops over $300.... Figures. Drone isn't bad at all at 2500 RPM. This system is pretty quiet. I wish it were a bit louder, but it does work well. It really improved the performance over just the CAI....
