Thumbs up 4 mods down (performance) and finally a WINNER SRT8 Magnaflo Hi Flow Cats

Hello, I wanted to share my excitement about my latest mod the Magnaflow Bolt On High Flow Cats

First let me say that I have a 06 Silver SRT8C 6600 miles (still hoping the car will wake up a lil after more break in) w/ a AFE stage 2 intake (for sale, hopefully will go to a AZ member), then I added Flowmaster 50 Series mufflers (SRT resonators still there) and I had for a short time the JET Chip Stage 2 that has since been removed. By the way a side note, the factory resonators are more quiet than I like, and when I had them deleted it was way too much in the DRONE deparment at 2500 RPM.

I had the High Flow Magnaflow Cats installed at Pro Muffler in North West Phoenix, they charged $60.00 to do it. I don't have the tools or the lift, or know how to do it and it was well worth it. The Cats were not new, I got them from a forum member they were in very good shape (I think they go for $400.00 to $450.00 new).

The first thing noticed after start up was the depth of the sound. SO MUCH BETTER. And the next thing was it almost felt like the car was thanking me... It feltmuch more responsive, and the pull between shifts is where I notice the best improvements. I have only driven 60 - 80 miles on them, but I am so far, extremely happy with the outcome. Of the 3 previous mods in order I would say these are number one, then the exhaust, intake, and the chip I think did the least.

Below are some pics from my cell phone, not sure how they turned out.

Oh I also got some LED tinted tails... Check the Exterior Mod section very soon!

So you think your SRT8 is feeling more like an SRT8 now... compared to your former 300C? Glad that you're finally figuring some things out about it.

One thing that I found out yesterday was that the Torque Converter is set to stall on all SRTs is at 1800-2100 RPM, strange that my HUGE power loss is right there... LOL

I would like the Torque Converter 2600 or 2800 stall but its a lil pricy for me

Thing is I think that the car was hyped too much, and I expected more from it. Dont get me wrong I am loving it now.

I am an idiot I know for selling the AFE 2... I am going to try the GSM one that I bought from another member for $200.00 I like the look of it honestly, and I am going to bet that I will not lose HP. (that is my hope anyway)

The AFE is huge and I lilke that & looks like it sucks more air in, but I guess I will be the judge of that. I like messing, and if I dont like it, I could always sell it and buy another!

I LIKE TO PLAY! We shall see what happens.
