Computer upgrade

Any word on CPU enhancement.
Does it not bother any of you that the car redlines at 4000 RPM in park. I removed my muffers and installed straight pipes with stock appearing tips, When I blipped the throttled to check it out I noticed it topped out at 4 Grand. Hopefully a new CPU will fix that along with removing the MPH ceiling. That should be decided by horsepower not a chip.

I'm sure once the programmer companies figure it out there will either be a chip or just a flash upgrade. Many of the parameters like speed limiter, rev limiter, etc. are things that can be adjusted and saved into the current ECM. I would like to find out if the new Chrysler StarSCAN tool will allow overriding some of the settings.

Anyone know a Chrysler tech with a StarSCAN?

That rev limiter while in "P" is to protect the engine, nothing else. It does no good to rev it high with no load on it, so they limit the revs.

I asked a chip tuner in germany, who I got audi chips from, if they were going to do a chip for the 300c since it is being released in germany. This is his reply:

We are still specialised in Bosch and Siemens ECUs. I have no idea what kind of technologie Chrysler is using over there.

Please find out, what type of ECU Is used. If it is Bosch or Siemens, I might have no problem at all.

Best regards

does anybody know what ecu??? or where it located?

What tires are on your car from the factory? Often manufacturers will limit the speed of their cars to fall within the specs of the speed rating of the OEM tires.

Talk about watering mouths, I was watching Discovery channel (I think) and they had a show about the Autobahn. They showed a RUF test driver doing 212 MPH. WOW!
