Having turbo's or S/C's for the 300C won't hurt SRT8 sales at all - it may increase them IMO as it will increase the interest in the overall product line. What will hurt is if they don't release the codes (I don't think they will), or if they do their best to limit the aftermarket for us.
If you can buy a C, throw 5k at it and make 500hp, would you? A base C is 33k while an SRT is 45k. For an example, take a look at the Mustang GT, you can find a used one with low miles for cheap, add a S/C, and run low 12's for 5k and still be way cheaper than a Cobra. Take a new Cobra, add exhaust, a chip, and a smaller pulley with some Drag Radials....mid 11's.
The SRT's and SVT's are limited production, and they will always sell. Heck, with the money I now have in my C, I could have waited for the SRT8 and been about even money (see sig), and the SRT has better brakes, suspension etc etc..and better resale. When I look at all the upgraded equipment on the SRT's or SVT's - they are actually a great buy.

I am getting a satin version because i dont think ppl will ever want to know whats under my hood unless its really required. I got the SC+Big Injector KIT. Saved me 300 bucks and i could use that for big injector kit.
I dont think i am ready for big boost kit until i can lower+Need bigger rims and more meat on the tires.
ALRIGHT BOYS AND GIRL BY THE 1ST WEEK OF MAY, I will be ready to take on an SRT8. All i can say is BRING IT, but plz not now after a month because some 6.1L will be broken in we can see the real comparision.
I can be the labrotory animal who will try it out and keep you guys posted.

Just to let you all I will be waiting on you guys getting your supercharger. My order is going in this week for my Trilogy Motorsports "Roots-type" supercharger for my Marauder. This with my K&N air-charger unit should put me at about 420hp at the rear wheels. I also have a 410 rearend which should put me in the mid to low 12's. I can't wait. The tranny is fine damn. One of the guys i met from bmw (currently) but he worked for MB in the past. Told me the tranny so called set maximum is due to smoothness and the MB feel and he said MB set the max at 429.068lbs he said the tranny able to take maybe twice that but it will not have that patent MB feel. So i asked what is the patent MB feel he told me to ask someone that owned more than three MB and they can tell you, I told him look i just want to take this tranny to around 500lbs of torque and he told me you will not have a problem with that and if i not looking for that feel i could go past 600, it just will not be liquidy smooth i told him i just want to be solidly fast, he laughed. He told me if i knew anyone that speaks german to call brabus and they will confirm this but u have to speak to their cust service than to a technician and he said techs there speak little english but mostly german he said the good ones anyway. The guy asked me to keep his identity private but he told just call brabus if i didnt beleave him. Someone that has the spare money on this board please test the tranny This guy definitely knows what hes talking about and he showed me his credentials hes offical
