I smoked a 350z with my Magnum with 4 people in the car. But that was at a roll. Beat him pretty bad but I'm not sure about the launch on those things. My buddy's G35 automatic feels like a slug but I can imagine a 6 speed manual with a good driver being pretty quick so I don't know....

I too own a 350Z. I don't do much street racing, (anymore) but I know from having driven both, the Z will win...but I have a lil "WHINE" in my engine bay, could that be the reason?

Here is my thought, if you are a true enthusiast, you could appreciate the pro's and cons of each and every car, be it a HYUNDAI or 300C.
I appreciate the Z for its styling and handling on the track. The 300C has all the comforts of "HOME",along with styling and handling...and both have the power to move quickly. That said, i'm sure there are faster 300's, Magnums, Chargers that would "reel me in" and i'd eat exhaust.. but u'd still get a from me!
Nice Kill...

-RESPECT.

Mine had a CAI, resonators removed, BFG max performance tires, and aSuperchips tune on the engine and tranny.

Does the Superchips tune make a big difference? I imagine it does because it seems like I have a lot of un-tapped performance in the 300C (not sure why I feel this way).

I know this is sacrilegious on a 300C site . . . BUT the 350Z is a blast to drive.

Yeah it is small.

Yeah it is Japanese.

Yeah it ain't the fastest car available.

And it is not really comparable to my 300C . . .

BUT I always look forward to driving it.

I own 5 distinctly different vehicles and each has it's own personality.

I belong to many car forums, and I am always amused by how some members think their vehicle is the King of all vehicles. There will always be something faster, more expensive, bigger, or with better gas milage. Get over it.

if you wanna see some guys who think their poop dont stink. head over to charger forums. i know some people will say i shouldnt knock on other LX bretheren. but the attitude between the 2 boards, is completely different. there is about 5 people over there that will give respect to anything that isnt a charger. and the funny thing is, the guys that trash every other vehicle out there. are driving R/T's, not even an SRT. and they think that nothing in the world, short of a ferrari, will touch them.
