Question for those with Blastin Bobs?

Hi guys. Do the pipes slide on over the stock pipes after they are cut. It seems from the pictures that it slides over them and then it tightened via a clamp. Just wondering if it really can be done all by myself!

Thanks fellas!

Yep, you just cut the pipes and clamp the pipes down. Consider buying mine http://www.300cforums.com/forums/par...5db-pipes.html PM me if interested.

They come with sleeve clamps, but I discarded them and welded directly. Not sure which one's you are planning on going with, but my 11dB version is getting a little annoying. Under medium load at 2500 RPM it almost vibrates my car to peices.....Serious humming sound (I guess this is drone?)

Yup, that's the drone! I had the 7db fatpipes. I loved the look and sound of them, but the drone was a little annoying. The wife absolutely hated 'em. So I had to do the only thing that would save the marriage, get a set of Corsa's .

My 5db is about right.... lets you know there is an engine in the car when Idling, just a bit more noise when cruising.... don't notice any drone.

Just slip over... I told them to weld, but the tool just clamped them. Since he was such an idiot... i will take to another shop to fix it up right.
