Please...before I go into this post I am NOT a GEARHEAD (wish I was) and do not know enough probably to give you guys want you want (technical data etc). However let me tell you the car is simply hauls ass. Johan at Diablo had it the last few days (doing some beta testing) and gave me the results. It dyno'd bone stock at 370 RWHP...no surprisise here. The only mod I have on the car is the Hammer CAI and Johan was pretty surprised at the results of this thing (I wasn't)....it dyno'd at 380 RWHP.
Now the final results. With the hammer cai and the custom tune it produced RWHP near 405. You guys are better judges of results than I but this seems pretty damn good?
Johan adjusted my idle, fan comes on 15 cooler and shifts at 6400 instead of 6100. He said mine was actully shifting at 6000. The shifts between gears seem much harder and the responsiveness is amazing.
I also gained 20 (is it called pounds) of torque. When this gets released I'll bring it back in for them to put it back to stock and show me how to use this bad boy.
that sounds very consistent with what ive been reading over on LXF. your a lucky guy to have this on the car, we are all foaming at the mouth for this tuner.
that is excellent, a 25 rhwp gain is awesome. and 20 lb/ft of tq is pretty damn awesome too. did you notice it more at low speeds, like around town? or more power on the highway? or everywhere? the Pres over at diablo posted that the SRT8 really responds well to shifting at 6400 RPMs. i was surprised by this, but like you, im not a gearhead by any means, so i cant say if this is good or bad or what. i would like to see some dyno charts tho, so we can see the powerband.
and now the big question...did anyone hint anything about when this was being released to all of us?

I'm not going to deliver the GOOD or BAD news but Johan did tell me when they plan to relase. I would prefer this come from Diablo themselves.
I have the dyno charts but don't know how I'd be able to post them? I REALLY noticed at higher speeds but it was evident everywhere. I know previously coming off the line the car was somewhat sluggish (unless in 1st) or hesitant. Now out the gate in DRIVE the car is much more responsive. I am going to take it for another spin at lunch as I only got to test it into work on the highway....the car really does feel completely different.
When I asked Johan AM I GOING TO NOTICE? He had this sheepish grin on his face and said OH YEAH....he was correct.

i think you could post the dynos the same as pictures, just host them on photobucket or something like that and we could see them, as long as its some type of image file.
im glad that it is more responsive in drive. thats great to hear. keep an eye on the trannys adaptiveness and see if that has changed at all either, that was a big question over on LXF.
as far as the good or bad, lets hope DS tells us something soon.
To post your dyno sheets... scan them to a JPG image. Save it, and then reduce the size to 800x600 pixel (or something close) and Save As using a name with 3CF added (so you can find it later). That still may be too big to use as an attachment. If so, then either upload the image to your photo gallery here, reduce the size again and retry attaching, or figure out how to start/use an account on photobucket, villagephotos, or any other on-line image server... and upload to that server first... and just post a link to the image URL on that server.
It's really pretty easy, although I did a poor job of description...
