Dyno results from Vengeance Racing today

Well I picked up my car at Vengeance today. Had larger fuel injectors, colder spark plugs, and the SMT6 controller installed. The car was tuned and for the most part I'm happy with it. I was anticipating a bit more hp out of the mods/tune, but definitely happy with the amount of torque I picked up. The air/fuel is much more consistent now, and the power band across the rpm range is a drastic improvement. Ron, Buddy and Mike at Vengeance rule!! I can definitely feel a huge difference when I hit it WOT; the torque pins me back more than before. Just thought I'd share. Cheers!

Wow, those look like great numbers....you were expecting more?? Stock SRT8's typically dyno 360-380rwhp. You picked up over 125HP at the rear wheels with just a bolt on supercharger!!!

Looking for more??? A matched set of heads and cam will bump those numbers up.

I am curious how the SMT-6 runs in day to day driving situations?

Did they use the Diablo to better tune your car and SC?

The bottom represents the R4 Controller set up I previously had, with stock fuel injectors with 2 auxiliaries running (from the GSM kit). The previous dyno was in June. The R4 was a bit archaic and the fuel injection was haphazardly and unevenly distributing fuel with high propensity to cause detonation. With the new set up, things should be much safer/even. Also change to colder spark plugs. Air fuel before was super rich (off the charts 9:1 etc). Now, depending on engine temp it bounces between 11-12. I truly was thinking I'd be closer to 550 rwhp, but I don't mind taking baby steps at this point. They were able to tune the car using the SMT6 and the included software. I now have it uploaded on my laptop and will be able to make tweaks going forward. I don't know if any of the new handheld tuners can be effectively used on my SC application.

Good numbers! Just watch pushing it too much. Those stock piston do not like too much boost.

Hey man, they're located at 241 Castleberry Industrial Dr. You can google their website. Their specialty are Vettes/Camaros/Chevy. My Mopar was the first that's been tinkered with at their shop. Great group of guys.

Definitely am cautious about this. I'll be upgrading to racing pistons over the next 6 months or so, followed by a whole host of other fortifying upgrades.

Just curious, how are you measuring 'worlds fastest LX' or is that just a gimic signature. If not, what's your 1/4 mile time and trap speed and what mods have got it there? Thanks man.

Well I don't think anyone has gone faster then 11.38 @ 120.78 to date, but I am sure its coming. I already have something in the works to hopefully go 10's in the very near future. I am running a built motor, ported heads and intake, FRI cam, Kooks L/Ts, Quaife LSD, GSM axles, and a 125 shot.
