Randy's Way Dual CAI...Installed

During my second trip to Cali., for Spring Festival #2. I was walking the grounds looking/drooling at all the beautiful LX's on hand. When I came across the hottest engine bay (hands down) on any LX.

What did my eyes see, a custom dual CAI built by the owner of the car, Randy's Way (charger forums). I usually do my own modding but when I saw the pristine work that Randy did on his dual CAI and after talking with Randy at length. I think he knew he would be hearing from me after Spring Festival.

My modding hat goes off to Randy. I am now the proud pappa of not 1 but 2 Randy's Way Dual CAI's.

Look what arrived at my doorstep last Friday.

Shake and Bake....That just happened!!

That's right, #2 & #3 Randy's way dual CAI. I started modding on the Super Bee's engine bay first, but the Magnum is next and I couldn't think of a better way to start the Magnum's engine bay modding, than with Randy's saweet dual CAI.

#3 Randy's way dual CAI is for my Super Bee. But it is not installed yet. It will be once my intake manifold and other metal parts are back from the powder coater. The Super Bee is all torn down right now and the dual CAI could not be installed....yet!

Now that's just beautiful man . Any dyno results on that yet ?? I would have to assume that their is some kind of improvement over anything else.....you are taking in more air . Even if it's a small gain......It still looks mad cool .............

Thanks for the kind words everybody. Unfortunately I do not think Randy is going to make anymore. It took a lot of PM's for him to agree to make these 2 for me. It is very time consuing and he has a day job.

The dual CAI has not been tested on the dyno yet. Will probably wait until I go to install the dual on the Super Bee, once the ohter parts are back from powder coating. We will install the stock CAI on first and run on the dyno. Then install the dual and see the results then.

Yes, you use 2 filters for the CAI. They have to be installed after you install the main dual CAI. I took the front fascia off and it was a breeze to fit the 45 degree pipes Randy included and the K&N filters.

Yes Sir, it was great seeing you as well. Love your lower chin spoiler you just did. Clean looking 300.

With the help of Stealthsrt8 (Rob) on Friday afternoon. We were able to install the dual CAI in time to get the wagon washed. Then on the road to Austin Sat. AM, to debut Randy's work of art.

At the Austin M&G last Saturday

I am sure they would. I am not really all that concerned if I picked up some extra HP. For me it was the cool factor from the moment I saw Randy's at SF in Cali. I kept going back to his Charger throughout the entire day, lol.

You know it kind of reminds me of a dual intake I saw on the viper . I don't know if they all come like that .....but it's sweet . And painted to match is just plain beautiful Mark . I can see why he made it for someone like you . Your rides just deserve the best the way you treat/Mod them . I guess he knew that.......................
