Considered the Air Hammer, but it's just outta my comfort zone for cost.

I went with the AEM Brute Force. It looks great, sounds great and it def. helped in fuel economy. I won't make any HP increase claims, but it sounds faster.

I have had 5 intakes. NONE MADE A BIT OF DIFFERENCE...

I love the fit and finish of the Airaid and gains are good.
The hammer is huge
the INJEN had by far the best throttle response
the GSM made the exhaust the loudest, but bogged the most
AFE was the same as hammer but uglier

Just installed my afe 2 yesterday and i LOVE IT. mann i didn`t expect that sounds that came out when i hit the throttle. its like my engine is singing to me now under revs. lol. i couldn`t feel a difference after my install yesterday but this morning after the car cooled down and sat for a while.. mann it definitely is a bit peppier and that sounds makes it even better. 1 satisfied AFE 2 owner here.

AirHammer.

If intakes on the car matter, I've had I think 9, including two prototypes from manufacturers, plus the Frankentake projects, plus an intake or two that I bought (most recently an SRT intake of a wreck so I could test some things I wanted to look into).

I could have any intake I want, I've helped test pretty much every intake on the market, I have a garage full of intake parts that could equip a fleet of LX's, and I bought an AirHammer.

byg_myke...Trust me. Matt knows what he's talking about! The aFe Stage II is also a good product with positive results..just not as high as the AirHammer. It is also less expensive.

(Matt...when did you swap out the Frankentake III for the AirHammer?? Looks like I will now need to move up! You need to update your Mod List with the new AirHammer!)

from what i have seen, the airhammer made more power than the afe 2 after 75mph. personally, i dont drive past 65 daily , and till that time the airhammer had better numbers so i just figured the afe 2 was a better choice for me and it is also 100 bucks less.
