I feel the same way. I would love more power, but I know that there is just not much hope, economically speaking, for the 3.5. I will just live with the 250 ponies until I trade up to a C. Like you said, driving slow and looking good

I don't think it is the 300 alone, it is American cars in general. They just don't hold their value as well as the imports.

yeah the imports are ripping the american market up. they are better quality than american cars. you can kinda tell how the market works by looking at rebates. there are big rebates on almost all american cars while the imports just offer interest rate specials. honda is doing well on the market and they have just low interest rates for qualified buyers. toyota is the same way. they have some rebates but they are not much compared to american cars. trucks are the exemption to this. they make a ton of trucks and then rebate them high to get rid of them at the end of the year. americans always need trucks. we work hard everyday and the trucks must do the same!

meh. i prefer to buy american in general. its good for the economy and most american cars have a badass mojo that nothing else can really emulate

american automakers brought us:
the 300C
the charger
the viper (pretty much anything SRT)
the Z06
the H2 (hummer)
the escalade
the CTS V
the camaro SS

pretty much anything the bad guy in a movie would drive. the japanese and europeans will never have that.

You could try to sell your car outright instead of trading. That might get you some more money. Dealers will usually give you wholesale on a trade. Then you could try to find a good deal on a 5.7 or 6.1 car.

As for the SRT6, those are actually very fun to drive!

I'd evaluate your situation more in-depth and look for an economical alternative. Tried to avoid as much debt as possible and don't overextend yourself
