MPG with Superchip flash?

You guys with the 5.7L and a Superchip, what mpg increase did you see, if any?

It really depends on how you drive. I saw a couple mpg better but now I drive with a lead foot cause it's more fun = less mpg

My mpg increases whenever I can stay off the gas pedal! I feel the city driving mpg increase was much more noticeable than the hwy mpg. I'm very content with using the SC. I've also run 87 a few times to see where I stood on performance...couldn't tell the difference between it and premium.

I spend about $350 a month in fuel. So I was thinking that if I get a SC and stay off the gas I could get a few more mpg's. I'm averaging between 19-22mpg.

I'm sure you'll be able to save that with the SC, especially if you run it with the 87 octane tuning and drive conservatively. Over a period of months you should be able to have the FP pay for itself and start saving on overall fuel cost/consumption. Goodluck.

1.5-2.0 mpg increase. I verified this twice by installing / deinstalling and comparing over a period of time both times. This is using the 91 tune.

Leaner mixture means you're using less fuel which means your getting better mpg. It's not rocket science. It works...

I will confirm what RTaddiction said in his post above this one. I saw about a 1.5 to 2 mpg increase with the same driving patterns after I put in the Superchips. I run the 91 Octane Performance program.

The car runs MUCH better with the SC. The tranny shifts harder and much more precisely. A little tire squawk on the WOT 1-2 shift is common and I actually got a little one once on the 2-3 shift!

The car now drives the way it should have from the factory. It is amazing how the Chrysler engineers "dumb down" the car and take all the performance out of it. Glad we've got folks like SC to get it back!

It is a lazy shifter. I had it out yesterday in almost 90 degree heat and it was really slowing the shifts down and acting a little confused witht the stop and go traffic. But all cars act different when the temps swing.
