1- Mopar air intake filter (10 Hp)
2- Jet Chip stage 1 (22 Hp) as company said
3- Zoomer Exhaust,Or what the best one for 300C (30 Hp) on road as company said
4- Spark 2 head each cylinder

And what els dears from your experience

I don't know about that, you might get close with the right application.
Stroke It!

PPPtech would be a good source to ask.
Or, you could spray it till it go BOOM!

i think the HP ratings on those are a bit generous. i know SRT8s dont gain much from exhaust because of how their setup is already, but do C's really get 30 hp just from a catback? and 22 from the jetchip?

wildmark and crhemi make good points, and people are very pleased with PPPs work around here

Hello Diamond,

I have a full package from JBA (shorty headers, high flow cats and the cat back) it is dear near 45 more hp. Also try a cold air intake, it can increase up to 20 more hp. The Superchips Flashpak can give you from 25 to 35 more hp depending on your mods. A low temperature thermostat ( a 180 degree one) can help you with more hp. The colder the air for combustion, the more hp, colder air is denser than hot. The cooler the engine runs, the better. It will mantain more viscosity in the oil due to less thermal breakdown, resulting in better compression. I am pushing around 410 hp in my 05 300c. If you want to now cost, quality or difficulty in installing any of these let me know.

all these numbers are very High for a 5.7L... I'm sure they are WAY over estimated.

I'm not sure at all about fandyfas' numbers... Did you dyno the engine or just add the manufacturers horsepower to 340/350?

With Intake, LT headers and Magnaflow catback ... my at wheel HP went from 286 to 302.. I haven't re-dynoed with the SC program, I'm waiting for something that will actually take advantage of the Headers (SC tunes do NOT tune for anything but stock equipment, but can show slight improvement)

Check out the MFO for better info (using test results!)

hello,
i hope that you aren't just adding one hp rating to another to get a final number. what one thing does to add hp/tq, another will change that number. an intake might give you an increase of 20hp, and exhaust might give you 20 hp, but that doesn't mean that you just gained 40 hp from those 2 things. you might only see about 25 hp gain total. heads, headers, intake, cam, etc...parts that are matched to each other are the best and surest way to make solid hp/tq numbers. i know that there are quite a few people on here that have good numbers that should chime in and give you their thoughts and input.
hope this helps.

20HP from a CAI on our cars is impossable! There is no intake out there that can support this claim...period (on an LX car).

The Mopar CIA is one of the intakes that actually LOST HP and torque when
tested in the MOFO dyno tests. It has been proven that the only two intakes
to make any noticable HP increases are the AFE and the Airhammer. So
the numbers you have there are not correct. You only gained some sound
from the Mopar intake.

The exhaust might have gained you 5 or so HP over stock. This can also
be seen by searching this site and reading other peoples dyno sheets when
they tested their new exhaust versus their stock one. So, lets be
generous and say you might have gained 10 HP from it.

I have yet to see an actual dyno sheet from a real person here that shows
a Jet-chip adding 22 HP like their site says. You might pick up a few HP
from it, but I doubt 22. Maybe another 10 HP or so. If someone has a
dyno sheet showing the magic 22 HP, please post it for us.

So, you probably really only gained about 20 HP. And just to be correct,
the HP ratings are at the rear wheels, NOT the engine on a stand with the
emissions stuff hooked to it like they do at the factory.

From the factory, a stock 300C with the 5.7 Hemi puts out about 280 HP
to the rear wheels. The 340 number is without any drivetrain losses, so
you can't add your mod numbers to that. You have to add it to your
stock rear wheel numbers.

So, you actually have just over 300 HP to the rear wheels now.

Each time you add a new mod, like a CIA or exhaust or whatever, they
all add or decrease each other as the car breaths better. Its an
accumulative effect that all adds to the cars overall HP ratings.

You are going in the right direction with your mods!! Keep it up!! I bet
your car feels much better now versus stock!
