What gear should i use on the dyno?
What gear should i use on the dyno? I've been using 4th because I believe it's one to one. Can I use third? Does it matter?

You are right. 4th gear is 1 to 1 and where you should dyno.
I have done some runs in 3rd gear to compare to 4th gear runs and there was actually very little difference.

You can do a third gear run and even try a second gear run. It all depends on the dyno. You should try a third and a fourth...
Good luck, buddy!!

yes, you can run in any gear you want. but if you want the most accurrate readings. you should run in 1:1.

You are correct. Still a good idea to get readings of your AFR in low gears.

personally, i do all my original AFR tuning on the street. once i got a good street tune. then ill hit the dyno. then you are basically just messin with your timing on the dyno.
i thought he was simply putting it on the dyno to get a power reading. not do any tuning??
