No go on HYPERTECH and SUPERCHIPS

i just talked to HYPERTECH and SUPERCHIPS and NEITHER one of them have any plans for a chip/programmer for the Magnum/300c. Whats disappointing is that both have products for the truck hemi motor. Maybe its the MDS they don't want to play with...

I like my Stage 2 Jetchip, but those programmers i hear are really impressive with a skilled mechanic/dyno present

It's not MDS, it's the ECU and the high speed CAN BUS. The implementation of the HEMI motor in the 300C/Magnum is much more complicated than the truck.

Sounds like Jet chip may be the way to go for now...especially if it firms the trans up a touch, and for only $250, it would be an easy sell later if a programmer is actually released....

5point, i sent Jetchip an email regarding some concerns I had (Assuming the success of the chip's performance is legitimate, which basis the few feedbacks we've heard, it does seem to be), that #1 pulling the chip before having a dealership service the car...what kind of memory does that computer have & how long prior to having the dealer service the car would you need to pull the chip? So as not to void the warrenty.
Also, over time it's been said that the car's computer senses the chip & compensate's for the increased hp/performance... is this accurate??

They never replied to my email. I'm reluctant to add the chip, regardless of the relatively inexpensive cost, or increased hp/performance/response in transmission... without first having these questions answered first....

Your thoughts?

IN this case, I'm afraid silence may not be golden.

I think maybe the silence from the current owner's that installed the Jetchip may be the most important thing here.

There are 1-2 owner's reporting good success, but I know there are many more owner's out there with it installed, and I haven't seen many posts after 3-4 weeks of driving.

For $250, if the trans shifts are firmed up, it's worth the cost IMO, and it will prolong the life of the tranny. The long shifts means slipping clutches = wear.

The jury is still out, and I don't think Chrysler will ever release the code (just my opinion).
Worth two and half bucks???

Only two and half bucks? I agree, DC is keeping the keys to the ECU, if they were to ever give them up, I would think Mopar would be the first to have at it.

What are you thanking Chrysler for? They did build one hell of a nice car, (in the 300), to begin with.
