my thoughts on the diablo

holly chit!!!!!......it is like a night and day difference...i just installed it which took me a few extra min only because i had to down load the updater from diablo...once this was done it was a piece of cake...i installed the 93/cai tune.. and i changed my tranny shift points...and red line auto shift...no problems what so ever on the install it prompts you what to do so make sure you keep a eye on the tuner...SO....i couldnt wait...95 is like 1 mile away... off i went...i used the shift stick mode.. i get to the end of my street and BLAM i hit the gas and start tapping the stick shift..1.2.3..it throws me back into my seat like ive never felt...tottaly awesome!!!as i roll up to the stop light for 95 i happen to be the first in line and yep you guessed it ...i nailed it on green.. needless to say i left everybody like they where standing still..i know they were like this guy is f'n crazy...o well...lol....now usually when i do this by the time i get to the end of the on ramp iam at like 80ish...on this run i was at 100+ ive been taking this on ramp for the past 2 years and NEVER have i come on to 95 at 100+...iam really for loss of words...this tuner is the REAL DEAL !!!!!!!!!!!! i was going to cook dinner tonight....not now...lol...here i come orlando 45 min drive...my wife dosent know it yet either.... ill post some more thoughts after a day or so...just wanted to share...all you that are on the fence....start jumping off you wont be sorry...

well to tell you the truth i wanted to.. but when i went into change it i got scared...lol...i saw a whole list and i didnt remember what you did..but i did notice my fan running when i went for this quick run..i was at like 206..should i change it?.but remember i only have the stock t -stat...also when i changed transmission shift points it just asked me if i wanted to change and i pushed enter...i didnt give me a choice on what to change to but it changed something because now i dont feel the shutter when iam at high rpms switching into another gear...so i dont know what my shift points are..but it feels pretty dam good...lol..

i got a question? i just got mine and did the update to. I went and plugged it back into the car and did the re-calibration and it makes me keep doing that. I never get the option to load any tunes. What do you think im doing wrong. Do i need to load the tunes from diablo onto the tuner?

big body..first i went to install mine and it said you have to update...so i first downloaded the diablo updater...then i had to restart my laptop to get the updater to recognize the usb plug in...once i restarted the laptop and plugged the diablo in it started DL'ing a update on the the tuner...it even said on the tuner updates being transfered from cp....once this was done it said now reinstall so i went into the car again and all doors have to be closed and i plugged the tuner in then it prompted me to turn the key to on possition..from there i just followed what it told me to do..maybe you didnt get the DL like you thought??

You should probably give Mike at Diablo a call. He will walk you through it and help troubleshoot for you. Just take a cordless phone out to your car and then call him so your ready to go through the steps he takes you through. He is very busy, so you may be on hold for a while.
