For you guys who installed your own exhaust, how difficult is the exhaust installation on jack stands in the garage.

My buddy an I installed my borla exhaust on a lift at work, but with jackstands it shouldnt be to hard.. Im sure it would help out a great deal if you had a friend around. One of you could stay under the car, the other can hand parts to you, and help you hold them up when you bolt them down. An extra person is also good to get the tips where you want them. When tightening the exhaust down, start from the back foward, it helps alot, and keeps the tips where you want them. Have fun.

Just for a reference a local repair shop installed mine for $79. The hard part was taking the old system home for storage (only to be thrown out in 2 years).

If I can get my guy to do it for $79 it;s a done deal, I'll use the odyssey to get the stock system.

I used jack stands, a 12 pack of beer and some music and had it done in two hours. This was my first time installing an exhaust and it was easy. Just take your time and make sure nothing is rubbing or else your going to have to realign the pipes again. If you hear knocking then you'll have to redo something to get it right. The only reason why the install took so long was due to the toilet trips and the around the block with no exhaust trip. Very Fun but don't do it too long or you'll crack your block. Good luck and have fun.
