Volant Induction UPS'd today!!!!

It was from the group buy from Tbyrne. It is beautiful and should work well with the borla exhaust I just had installed. I'm frustrated because I am going away for a week and will not be able to install it. I tried to just put the top section on for now, but the box won't fit over the stock silencer tube coming through the fender, so I'll have to wait till I can do the total install!
I took photos but the files are to big and it won't accept them! If I have time I'll try some more.
Observations-
1. The tube going into the engine is about the same size but has a smooth inside surface for better flow.
2. The filter has a much greater surface area then stock for better air flow.
3. The air box is larger then stock
4. The pipe that eliminates the silencer is a 3 inch diameter by the lower grill opening.

Ok I couldn't stand it I had to do something so I took the stock filter box and tube going into the engine off and installed the volant tube and filter in its place until I have time for the total install. Yes I know I will be sucking hot air from the engine compartment but let's give it a try.
Took it out for a few runs, WOW even with the hot air, the response is much better. This is the missing link to the borla exhaust. It will only get better when I complete the install and get cold air as well.
