Custom exaust on touring

Just wondering if anyone has done an exaust system on a touring im goiong to be doing a cat back y-pipe with the tips comming out behind the rear tires probably 2.5" tip nothing huge, I also would like to know what size piping anyone used and what kind of muffler and tip I want it to sound balsy but I dont want anything obnoxtiously loud and deff. not sounding like a honda!!! I would be happy with the sound of a stock Mustang GT or a lil louder..

please don't do it. keeping your car quiet is what you want to do. Unless you have
a V8 you don't want to hear your exhaust. It will be embarrasing if pull up next
to anything with some power and try and get on it. The car isn't fast unless you have
the Hemi. Keep it classy and don't have a bunch of pick up truck pipes hanging out.
Less is more in my book.
Leave the stupid sounding "Bee in a coffee can" exhaust's to the import high schoolers.

mmmm was it a newer one by that i dont mean 05 i mean the gen under that casue if so then sorry but that guy cant drive....i have a 300 granted its the 250hp but my boys mom has the c and theres no way that a c is taking a mustang gt im sorry im guessing maybee it was stick and he missed a gear now if it one of the 90's then ya maybee casue those only run high 14's with 210hp but the newer runs should be running 14.4's i dont believe the c runs that casue the srt 8 is quoted at 14.2 and thats almost a 100hp more than the c's.....so it doesnt add up if ur taking new mustang gts u must be running low 14's????!!!!

i dono man.... it wasnt the brand new style... looked like a 2000 gt, white... and he was definitely trying to beat me... i didnt crush em... but i stayed in front the whole time... and we both started from a red light... maybe he cant drive maybe he can... regardless... his car was beat... by a "quick" 4 door sedan

hahaha true that.... thats gotta be a great feeling having in my opinion the hottest pimpest car on the road it being a sedan weighing over 5k and taking a sports "race" car thats awesome! On the 13.9 time never in a million years i had a 04 altima 3.5se before this car... car & driver said it ran a 14.4 stock took it to the track the best i got was a 15.1 u can never go by those times their very inacurate and misleading! Now I', intrested if anyone took a stock "c" to the track to run it would love to know what it actually runs i would do it but i have a touring and wont waste 15 bucs to see my mid to high 15's 1/4 mile time! LOL

well second this, second that... you still must admit... to beat a mustang GT... good driver or not... your car must be AT LEAST "quick"
