Here are the first face off results from the LX forum. The results under the
initials "AC" are the K&N AirCharger with the plastic intake tube.

You can do a search of the LX forum for the other 5 or 6 face offs that
tested not only intakes, but different chips, tuners, exhausts, and a host
of other things.

When this test was done (in the link you posted), as far as i remember k&n did not have this unit out: http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=57-1542
This is what i referred to as being the plastic one.
When they did the test I believe they tested this one : http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...Prod=69-2526TP
as for the other tests i havnt looked at the other ones, and therefore am not sure if the 57-1542 unit was used.

Edit: I believe the unit they used in the test is no longer made. The Air charger was K&n's 63 series kits, which are no longer on their site. They now have the 69 series (12 hp gain) and 57 series (21 hp gain, dyno on the site, link provided above). Again i dont know if the new units have been tested.
