I haven't and probably won't. My CMR is with r18 and I don't want to have to get a new one, at least not for the differences shown between r18 and 9r01.

It seems if you want to do a CMR, you need to upgrade:

No tune changes where done vs r20.

I'm running the 9r01 programming now, but haven't been able to give it a fair test to compare it to the 19r I was previously running. Preliminary seat-of-the-pants testing leads me to believe that my r19 programming was more aggressive, as there were several occasions were the car would chip, or spin the tries for a sec when the trans shifted into second. Plus, it felt like r19 pulled harder in the upper RPM range. And lastly, it felt like the r19 programming shifted at a higher RPM (with "raise shift points" selected) then the 9r20 programming does, even with the "raised shift points" selected. Could be in my mind, or maybe not. Diablo mentions nothing about changing anything other than minimal issues. Nothing about performance programming changes.
Can anyone verify if earlier tuning versions had a "increase shift firmness" option listed, before I go through all of the effort to tuning back to stock, reloading r19 and then checking, because the 9r20 programming doesn't have it.

I'm going to try and put my car through some paces today and see how it compares, before I can't make a biased assessment anymore.

Also, I will say this, since i turned my rear 'o2s off with the Predator, I have not had the codes pop up for a few days now. That part does work.

People with 5.7 cars can only work between r20 and 9r20 versions, because of a major update/change in Chrysler's basic programming map. Supposedly, this isn't the case with the 6.1 cars. I'm going to find out, though, because if I'm not impressed with the 9r20s performace today, I'm going back to r19 if I can, and I'll live with the o2 codes...

Which r20 tune did you try? CAI, no CAI, 91 oct, 93, oct. Also, did you change any parameters? I wasn't happy with the 9r01 tune, until I realized that some of the adjustment scales were reversed. When I went to add a few percent to the furl, I actually leaned it out, because the "rich" side was to the left, and "lean" was to the right. So, my car was pulling fuel, which in turn pulled timing and had knock retard. I could swear this was the oppisate way on previous tunes, but I should have paid closer attention. I went back over everything and noticed this, changed it to add fuel and the car's an animal again. I'm happy with the newest version. Too bad I didn't have it fixed when I ran a friend's very modded Trans Am. It would have been a much better race, and less embarasing. Oh well...
In any case, you might want to give version v20 a little more time to decide, because there may also be some needed "learn" time for your car. If you reset the adaptive learning for the trans, there will definetly be some needed learn time. And, you may want to check, but version r20 had the Chrysler programming update, which is why there was a problem with version r19 and 5.7 cars. Version r20 fixed that. So, I thought Diablo posted that 5.7 cars could only go between r20 and 9r01 once the new Chrysler update was installed with version r20. But, if you're already back on r18, I guess that's not the case. Or, maybe it something to do with the fact you're overseas (UK in your name)? Maybe there's a difference in the update lock because of that?

Did you have to do an update when you tried out version r20?
