Your right. If the check engine light stays on all the time, he's going to have a problem when something acually malfuntions. The warranty work may come into question at the dealership. Keep the old system stored away someplace so that you can make the switch before you take it in for any warranty work. Cecil........

Armadillo: Can you please explain exactly how you installed the O2 sensors on your headers? Some people had some problems with them, you seem to have gotten it right. Thanks

Just followed the directions from Dynatech, and installed the O2 sensor parts on the headers before they are bolted in, much easier, I think there is a link to the install here that lead me to do this.

I am running the 4 muffler Borla system. By the way, after header install with the different cats, the sound of this Borla system is much better, little loader, sounds like a Hemi should.

I have been running 91 octane and our setups are the same except for your Jet stage 2 module--that's probably the reason your check engine light isn't on. I was goning to buy the JET module until I talked to Superchips and found out they expect to have a "programmer" out for the 300C/Magnum RT by August 1. They already have the '03 hemi truck programmer out and the '04/'05 hemi truck programmer will go on sale June 1. I just hate to spend over 200 bucks on the JET product when I KNOW the Superchips programmer will do WAY more and will probably cost only about $400 or so. I guess I'll live with the check engine light until August!

Glad to hear that Superchips are targeting Aug 05 for a programmer.

As to your CE light coming on, it may go off after 2 or 3 cycles (overnight shutdown).

Anyone with helpful tips with installing these puppies? I'm planning on ordering some but can't afford the install price. I'm planning to do the install myself with the help of my brothers and beer. I've heard the top two bolts are hard to reach. What do you have to do to access to theses bolts? Any tricks?

best advice.... wait another month and have them installed properly.

kinda reminds me of all the people who buy body kits for their cars and can never afford to paint them ( EG: red civic with blue bumpers ).. im sure you see alot of that in irvine.

seperate note im curious to get under the srt-8 and see the design flow compared the dynatech headers and justify if its a worthy investment or if the mopar boys have already figured it out..

I think you are correct, it's nice to know which mod helps the others. As I am going with the supercharge next, the jetchip will probably be out of there anyway.
