Racing the C

Well did my first drag race the other day. After a toll both on an access road to the Garden State Parkway down at the NJ shore. The 300C against a Mercedes coupe convertible with the V-8 in it. Guy had a NY license plate. Love NY but not the onslaught of NYs it brings down at the beach in the summer. I saw him really punch it and he expected to blow me away. I did not burn him but I definitely won the race. He was surprised to say the least. I don't think he new what I was. Any of you guys have stories.
