AutoStick Override Chip - who can program this?

So now we've established that the new AutoStick does not afford us the level of control as the old 300M AS. (What was wrong with the old D-3-2-1, anyway?)

My question is: Is it possible for an aftermarket software or chip developer to develop a different program that allows +/- shifting so that we can directly control the transmission? This would be a very nice addition.

I hope some thing is available soon. The tranmission programming sucks quite frankly. It's not nearly as aggressive as I'd like. I understand JETCHIP is aiming to introduce a chip for the 300C in the fall. I just go an email from them today.
