Why the Big Increase in Performance Oriented Threads?

Has anyone else noticed the significant increase in posts from gearheads?

And, have you noticed how many folks who own other high performance machinery are joining the forums?

Is it because of the SRT-8?

Or are 300C drivers wiping the nose of a lot of more expensive machinery on the streets?

Perhaps the automotive enthusiast community now realize these cars are for real?

Whatever the reason, I, for one, am very happy with all these new members and posts.

I agree Northern.. I too have seen many performance threads also.. And Im loving every one of it.. Welcome all gear heads and new members..

I agree also, I am here from the clubgp forum. If all goes well $$ for me, my next ride will be an SRT-8 with all the perf goodies available.

I think that some of us have been here all along and others have just discovered the performance of the 300C is for real and are joining us.

Our cars right now are a raw canvas for automotive aftermarket industries. We are reviving the "cheap horsepower" and big displacement movement and in all likelyhood this will continue to develop into other platforms as well.

It is easy to take a 5.7L V8 and tune it with just bolt on for trumendous power. I knew I was sold on the 300C, above all else, when I took a test drive and was able to mash the accelerator.

Very cool....... I am a big 80s 2.5 turbo fan.. I have an 89 T2 block fully built sitting in the garage waiting for a car to call its home..... Those GLHS's are GREAT sleepers.. People don't even know what hit them.. And if you have a few $$ to throw at it, you can make it pretty darn fast for cheap.
