Just got my order from tybrne today.. Just got it installed now... Need to take it out for a spin to see what I think..

Took forever to get it, but the price was right ($269 shipped)... Not tybrne's fault, I think that volant wasn't ready for the volume interest in these things.

No foam gasket >>>>

I just installed the Volant for CajunHemi and his unit did come w/ the "stainless" (not sure it is really stainless) cover plate but was lacking the foam gasket. Anyone else have this happen? I told him to call and request the missing part, other than that install was much easier the second time around.

My foam/rubber gasket was present, there was a slit in it as if cut by a razor blate, had not planned to mention it but since the topic was brought up...

I was all set to go with the volant, when someone told me the K&N drop in would give about the same results. I find that hard to believe. Anyone with experience on both?
