sorry

You may wish to note that your Impala was like a horse trailer compared to the 300C.

There are no shift kits per se for the NAG1 trans in your car, but there are a variety of ways to improve shifts. #1 is the Diablo Predator. It should be everyone's first mod. Completely transforms the entire car's personality.

You can also buy valve bodies and components at paramount performance, but they're a little bit more than a shift kit!

the consensus is that the predator is the best; and I won't disagree since I have no first hand experience with it. I will say that the superchips flashpaq, while not as good for power gains, DEFINITELY fixes the 'slushy' transmission. I got the flashpaq when it was the only game in town, and my main complaint was the transmission. With the flashpaq the autostik feature works properly (i.e. it shifts when you tell it to, not 3 seconds later) and in "D" the shifts are nice and crisp, but in no way harsh. Additionally you'll have the option to select "5th" gear in autostick which you cannot do in stock form.

If it's only the transmission performance you are concerned about, you may be able to pick up a used flashpaq fairly cheaply from someone who's 'upgraded' to the predator. And while the flashpaq doesn't really ad any horsepower, it does make the throttle response quicker. Overall I'm happy with mine.

not sure how much a shift kit would be(even if they did one for the "C")but I'm sure a predator would be way cheaper and even better than a shift kit...I mean $375 and you can choose what you want to do in a quite large range,...as we would say..."cheap as chips"...lol
