Never heard of a blue top noid before. However, I know you can firm up the shifts, and raise the shift points and rev limiter with the DiabloSport Predator or Trinity tuners.

No idea how it works but I know what you're talking about. Isn't it a mercedes or maybach transmission solenoid? Gimme a minute, I'll be back.

Well I looked around lxf and it's a maybach part but I still have no idea how it works. Basically what I got was it'll make your shifts VERY firm, not just at WOT but at part throttle and downshifts as well.

It's actually a Mercedes AMG part.

The blue top solenoids increase the firmness of your shifts dramatically, and you need two of them for success.

Personally, I would recommend the "little silver box" myself, with many settings for firmness so you can go from mild to wild on the fly. There is no adjustment to the blue tops.

Hey Steve so are you suggesting that the Blue Tops are basically worthless compared to the "little silver box" simply because of the adjustment factor?

What about the Blue Tops and the "little silver box" together????

nope

nope, the blue tops really work.

But they have no adjustability.

The L'il Silver Box is super adjustable and works really well.

Steve you never answered my 2nd question

Would the Blue Tops and the Lil Silver Box be Over kill or duplicative???

I have my name on the wait-list for the Lil Silver box and I was thinking about the Blue tops too but if the LSB does what the Blue tops do and more then I should spend my MOD money on something else instead of the Blue Tops- Agree??
