I hope you are not trying to put a 275 width up front. That sounds too wide for the front. I am holding out for someone to make 245/45/20 front to go with 275/40/20 rear. That is what the 300 SRT8 may have.

Are you sure the offset on that wheel is going to work in the first place. 20" wheels for the 300 should have an offset closer to 24 or lower. I was going to use a wheel that had 38 for offset but I was informed that it would not work unless I used adapters. Adapters is not a good idea for this car because it will effect ride quality. You combine that offset with wide tires and theres a possibilty you won't even be able to bolt it on.

tire

I didnt put on the 275's we went with 245/40. There ok but i was hoping for a full well. A 255 wound be the better i think.
The offset is 34 we did have to put a small spacer on the front. The Bolts on the C are very long theres no worry about that.

Im just worried about therims now the tires have no rim protection on them. The 255 do but like i say its a S/T.

As for not looking good u diside everone that sees it sure thinks there the right wheels for it.

The offset is not dependent on the rims size like 18 or 20 or 22". It is dependent on the width as in 7.5 or 8.0 or 8.5 or 9.0 or 9.5. The higher the offset the more the wheel goes inward.

What would be great would be the 20" factory wheels originally shown on the concept car. Now that would make a fine custom statement. Great looks and a dash of "insider" knowledge, eh?
How do we get our hands on those??

The 20" on the concept car look too much like bigger versions of the stock to me. I want 20's as well (22 too much bling, hard ride) but can't find anything that will match this car. There is a post on another thread where 20's were put on a Limited, and the gap between the tire and fender was HUGE! I don't want to lower the car at all. So for now I get to keep my money.

20" Tires 255/45/20

Guys I hope this helps..

I choose the 255/45/20 size to minimize the dreaded "wheel gap" and to be closer to factory speedo (the tires are Toyo Proxess S/T). The factory setup is 225/60/18 outer wheel diameter of 28.63" the 255/45/20 wheel diameter is 29.04" and with the speedo on the 18"(s) 65 MPH would be 65.92 MPH on the 20"(s) as mentioned. If you went with 245/35/20 the wheel diameter is seems to be too small 26.75"

Unfortunately finding a 255/45/20 tire is very tough. My tire guys found thee Toyo Proxess S/T. Which is commonly referred to as a "truck tire". But I find the tread pattern to be nice and aggressive, V speed rating, 430 treadwear rating, and "A" temperature rating all good .

I like the ride of the 20"(s), road feel and grip is great and the ride is not too much rougher than the 18"(s). However, if anyone says that the ride is smoother with a larger wheel and less side wall it cannot be. With higher unsprung mass and limited sidewall the ride will always be slightly different. But I like the additional grip, road feel, and the look of 20"(s)
