Unfortunately, I did not weigh them...but I would guess the answer is no. They should be heavier than stock (the tires are wider by an 1" or so and normally chrome wheels tend to be ungodly heavy).

The challenge truly is too find a light weight forged wheel (chrome) that looks good.

Overall the sacrifice in acceleration, braking, and handling is minimal with my current setup. I would be more concerned of some of the tires being used with limited side wall height...it really tends to make the ride less smooth. Overall I have been happy with my choice. I hope this helps anyone who trying to roll on 20"(s). Other positives no rubbing what so ever.....anytime

From experience, does anyone know what is the reason why a car shouldnt be lowered an inch or so? I am considering doing this to fill the wheel gap, plus I already spent a load on tires and have no clue what to do with these, less than 200 miles on them..... is lowering a bad thing?

hey culater, can you post more pics and more side shots also if possible some shots of the tire. I want to do 20's as I feel the 22's will take away from the ride. what did the setup cost...ballpark?

Cost of Helo Cash 20(s) and Toyo 255/45/20(s)

For the Toyo Cash Wheels, Lock Nuts, and Toyo Proxess S/T 255/45/20 cost was $2700.00 which is high. You most likely could find online for much less.

I believe in purchasing local because you will always get the best support if something goes south even if you have to pay a bit more. The local guys I choose actively researched the to find the tires that would offer the least amount of "gap" which I am very happy about.

If I get home from work while there is still daylight I'll take some more pics of the tires and side profiles.

I know as I said in the post I paid a pretty high price.

But, I didn't have to do any grinding and I have no issues with rubbing as some have had with other wheel and tire combos. For that type of expertise I was willing to pay...Yes, I realize I could of had 22"(s) but they just weren't for me.

But now in since the setup works well and everyone knows what I am using hopefully they can/will/should find something that works well and save some cash in the process. The size tire 255/45/20 does wonders for filling the gap and does not look too small.

Please see attached photos below...I have much more in high resolution if you need them...feel free to use the forum email system. Also notice in the one closeup (the one that I have way too much glare on) the space between the "dreaded" suspension bolt is identical to stock...a perfect fit (no rubbing or sacrifices to the rubber gods).

The attachments are only allowed in lower resolution so you can't see it as clearly (I have some high res that show it better).

I know you'll enjoy the Toyo's, I really have enjoyed mine...this morning I had to do an emergency quick reaction move when I got cut off. The tires really grip well.
