It is very subjective. My experience was that it was ok at first, but got louder as the months went on and the baffles in the muffers broke down.

The good part is that the surgery is completely reversible.

Thank you. You make a good point regarding the reversability of the operatoin. I think I may need to get this done.

What if I told you all that I am working on producing an actual RAM air for the 300. It would be a plastic or metal tube that would hook into the existing air box, from the bottom, and tunnel down to the vent holes next to the fog lamps. It would attach securely to the mounts used for the vent covers now. This would create an actual ram air, that would help boost power. I think this would definetly add horsepower by forcing the induction w/ cool outside air. If the air pressure is enough to push in fender walls, guess how much air pressure would be forced into the intake.

Would any of you be interested in this?
Do you think there would be demand for this product?

You would have to have some numbers to show at speed the intake is pressurized rather then sucking air. I dont think its possible to get that much pressure form a small tube and no compressor.

I have an interesting question that all should look for the answer to... I called my local muffler shop and asked them if they could take the resonators out of my 08' SRT Design, and they said that I should check w/ the manufacturer, because they have done this before and check engine lights come on because the MDS (Multiple displacement system) needed the backpressure. Is this mostly 6.1 guys making this change, or is it also 5.7's. Has anyone had this done on an 08' and had check engine lights?

I was wondering how many 300c owners experience a drone when they have this mod done to their cars?
