Noise effects of headers?

Can anyone describe the effect of headers on the sound of the 300C? How much louder? What type of change?

Can confirm that header used with the same exhaust system (stock or otherwise) as with the stock manifold the sound will have little change in loudness.

On the other hand the "quality" of the sound may change, due to the different ways of combining the exhaust pulses of the primary header runs, either 4 into one collector or 4 into 2 then into one collector.

Header without a free flowing cats and exhaust system, will not reap much benefit, due to the bottle neck in flow the stock exhaust causes.

Ah, OK. I have the Volant CAI and the Zoomer's exhaust. Seems that the headers would gladly party with them.
