anyone sportin' Zoomers & Dynatech Headers?

or any other headers in concert with Zoomers exhaust for that matter....anyway, love to know how the combo is workin for you, both dyno'd hp as well as the change in sound if any?

Careful with this... you live in CA and you know the laws. gotta know someone that smogs and when you sell you have to have it smoged as well. Then again, im not telling you anything you dont already know. That said, Id love to hear from anyone who did this as well.

damn...i had forgotten about the smogged thing. o well, i guess i must be happy with whatever horses currently dwell in the euda-C. :-) i shoulda got an srt! o well, next year...

Well, that may or may not be an issue. I don't recall any smog tester ever poking around under the hood checking part numbers and suchlike. If there's nothing grossly unusual looking under there, and it passes the emissions test, I would bet that the headers would never be noticed.

#1. You don't need a smog test for the first 5 years.
#2. Never seen a tech poke around under the car.
#3. Cultivate a relationship with someone in a testing station, I've found that a Franklin gets a lot of things done.
#4. If your going to sell it, make it out of state, ebay it, or trade it in to the dealer where you don't need to smog it.

hmmm, id prolly trade the thing in on the srt sometime late next year or in 2007....definitly wont have the car for 5 years...i cant even stay in one house that long, let alone a car :-)

You could keep the stock exhaust manifolds and put them back on when you sell the car.
I'm not sure but I don't see way the headers would not work on the 6.1 engine.
Save your self $2K, even if you paid someone to do the swap you would still come out ahead.
