May Motor Trend says AWD available mid-summer. When I see it I will believe it. Same goes for advanced version standard Tire Pressure Monitoring system.

I replaced my continentals with some michelin energy MXV4 plus 255/55/18 and they are superb, quiet ride, look better, and a smoother ride. I do believe they also come with 60k warranty from Americas tire.

Wheel Size

Actually, if you do the conversion (25.4mm = 1.0), 114.3mm is 4.50 whereas 115mm is 4.53 - thats .030 difference in diameter on center. If you consider the tolerance on each hole is about .125 total, you can see that the difference in .030 is minor - answer, both sizes will fit but you truly want the size thats specified by the factory. Hope this help- Steve

Steve,
Welcome to the "club". I am a newbie here to and have found a ton of good info. Can't get the stealer to agree with what I have found here but that's another story!

Good info on the fit... but you posted to a subject that the last person posted on Dec. 2004.

BTW, Here are the specs on the stock and the "optional" size tire:

Stock tires size of 225/60 18:

Sidewall, 5.3”
Radius, 14.3”
Diameter, 28.6”
Circumference, 89.9"
Revolutions, 704/mile

Optional size of 245/55 18:

Sidewall, 5.3”
Radius, 14.3”
Diameter, 28.6”
Circumference, 89.9”
Revolutions, 705/mile

Have fun reading,
Gary

[Hey Gray, thanks for the welcome. As for that info, I guess I didn't see it posted. I wouldn't have responded. Now the problem is getting the tire, I've call arounded and they won't be available until mid-April.

Later, Steve
