Anyone else waiting for Corsa??

All of the other exhaust manufacturers have come out with products, though Corsa still doesn't even have a release date. They do make an excellent product, though, and their engineers have always been prompt in responding to emails. I've included a blurb from our conversation which makes me want the system even more, though I don't know how much longer I can deal with the stock exhaust.

"Sorry for the delay on the 300C. The main issue we are having is is a slight 'flutter' when the car switches between 4 and 8 cylinder mode on the highway. it would probably be barely noticeable to anyone but us, but we do aim for perfection. All that having been said, our system sounds great on the car. We have already tried/tested the other systems on the market including the Borla and Magnaflow too. The Borla is very quiet overall; very close to stock. The Magnaflow is really loud, and in my humble opinion does not produce a nice sound, and it drones inside. Obviously you are familiar with CORSA and what our exhausts do. Our sound both internally and externally is just much better. Anyway, I wish I could give you a specific date for the 300C... We are close. We are releasing the SRT8 version very soon (the SRTs don't have the MDS 8-4 cylinder drop technology), so hopefully the standard 300C/Magnum/Charger are close behind. You are correct, we get asked about this all the time, and the 300C is a definite priority for us. The Borla is only a 2.25" system, we've also had issues with it hitting the underbody or suspension of the car and it was difficult to install. And honestly, their tips are pretty plain. Our system is 2.5" all the way and will use our 4.0" Pro-Series tips at the exits. Dyno numbers are still on hold for final approval of a production configuration, but I know the actual flow increase was pretty significant."

I went with Zoomers.

Corsa is all talk and has been for 6 months. If they can't figure out the MDS issue within that time, they don't seem to care enough.

IMO they missed the boat.

For what its worth, I have compared my Zoomers with my buddies Escalade with Corsa, and the general consensus is that everyone likes the Zoomers better.

Ohh yeah, Corsa... I forgot about them. It's funny... Type in Corsa in the search field and you will see that threads like this that date back a LONG LONG time ago.
I also went with Zoomers. They have really figured out the exhaust for the 300C's. my opinion.

i think that presently there is an exhaust for every taste:

- Borla - similar to stock sound, but some nicer tips and better air flow
- Magnaflow - Louder then the borla, but still pretty mellow with that sound that magnaflows always seem to produce....WOT is pretty sweet, interior sound at all lower speeds/rpm's is nice and mellow.
Zoomers - the best sound at start up and idle....gives me goosebumps...also the best sound at WOT. Only negative is that the interior noise is bothersome and annoying at lower speeds and certain rpm's.

I must have been annoying Corsa with my inquiries, as the president gave me a call today. He said that he just gave approval to the 300C system, which supposedly is even louder than magnaflow on WOT, though with softer interior levels during normal driving. He mentioned that they will announce when the systems will be available next week. Good lord, more delays... though it will be interesting to have another exhaust system to evaluate - too bad it seems like no one will be around to try it out!

in your previous post, you said that Corsa had said that the magnaflows had loud interior noise....i dont know what they were listening to, as that simply isnt the case at all. also the MDS switch is very very subtle with the magnaflows...i dont know what corsa boy was smoking before he was listening, but i hope he brought enough for everyone.

Who knows... something tells me he's not connected into the product testing, as he had never heard of Zoomers exhaust. Who doesn't evalute the top contenders when attempting to release another product into the marketplace?

Sadly, those who have bash competitors and even worse provide misrepresented information speaks wonders to their product ... It is a shame they cannnot let their product stand on its own merit without having to sell BS subjective qualitative evaluations. ATTEMPTING to show the competitive pieces short comings to sell your own ... sad. Just bad business ...
