I think the cars look too "ghetto fabolous" imo. The only cars i've seen two tone paint look good on is the Mercedes Maybach and the Harley Davidson F150. The Harley has the black and sliver which looks amazing. I've seen people trying to pull of similar paint jobs with Escalades and it just doesn't look good.

Yet again...some people just want attention, even if it comes as the result of doing something really stupid and really butt ugly.

Would Having A Plain Car Win A Car Show Or Attract More Business? I Think Not!

OK, I am not saying that I love the cars but regardless - what would you do to a car - what else do you do to a Custom car or a modern Hot Rod?

I hear - "I don't like it" but what else do you do to a "Modern Custom" car. Especially, if your business or your hobby is customizing cars? If you can think outside the box you are in - describe how you would customize a 300C or Magnum to be entered into a Car Show or to attract business to your Auto Customizing establishment?

THE ANSWER! - THE SAME DAMN THING! FLASHY PAINT JOBS, BIG AZZ WHEELS AND A BUNCH OF EXCESSIVE IN-CAR-ELECTRONICS!

I also don't get how a 2 toned custom 300C is "Ghetto Fabulous" and this two toned custom Oldie 'Whatchamicallit' is an acceptable work of art! Is it "Suburban Fabulous"?

What I mean is if you add to much "bling" it doesn't make the car look better it makes it look tacky. There has to be a limit to the stuff that you do. If your putting your car in the car show then it makes sense but for a everyday car I think rims, grille and maybe a exhaust would be all I would do for the exterior. You have to give people credit for trying but im not feeling it. The 300C is hot without doing too much to it so you don't need to go overboard and make the car look tacky, thats the way I see it. But I think the Magnum with the grey/orange looks good, for some reason it suits the Magnum better then the 300.

You must have missed my point completely then. The Hirohata Merc is a stunning example of aftermarket custom design. The modifications are so subtle that 95% of the population never notices them. There are more body modifications done to that Merc than anything you would ever find nowadays. Yet it still looks 'right'. Like it came straight from the factory, wait no, BETTER than from the factory.

Isn't that the point of aftermarket modifications to automobiles? To make them look better? While I realize its all opinions and difference in style, often times, modifications are done that take away from the overall design of a vehicle.

24" Wheels for instance are just way to large for any sedan to look "factory". While it may be subjective to opinion, I believe a proper 22" wheel can look factory on the 300c. I teeter on the fence on this issue quite often and am not afraid to admit it.

Here is some evidence.

You cannot contest that the paint job on these 300c's is not Maybach influenced. I for one, have no interest in trying to make my car something it is NOT.

You know exactly what transpired in that custom shop that did those cars. "I wan't it to look just like a Maybach."

Its a Chrysler.

Making your Chrysler try to look like a Bentley with Bentley badges, or a maybach with 2 tone paint schemes is ghetto fabulous in my opinion. Have you ever seen a Standard E Class with an AMG badge? Thats my point.

God Bless America and the people who gave their lives to secure the freedom to be an individual. With that freedom you have the right to paint your house purple to match the color of your kids hair !
The freedom of speech is also covered in that same blood but should be used with some discression and not as a weapon.

Gullwing doors ,Phantom tops,two-tone paint and skinny 4 or 5 spoke wheels on this big body car showing all the brake parts (It's not a Honda ), are not my cup of tea, but if you like it on yours "Do the Damn Thing". For every 5 people who hate your look 10 will praise it.
My 14 yr. old son saw Manny's video and told me how "Tight" my Lava Red would look done that way ??????
To each his own or better yet, in the words of Frank Sinatra
" I Did It My Way "!

By the way, I think the lines chosen on the Magnum ain't bad, but not on my car !
