Fall Special!! 426 New Hemi Legend Stroker Shortblock! $4399 NO CORE!

Power Ported LLC has been the late model HEMI industry leader and innovator since the release of the 2005 SRT-8. The first to market with a running 426 stroker shortblock option, we were also the first to deliver CNC ported cylinder heads and tunable custom camshaft grinds. We have customers globally and delivery the best products at the most competitive prices.
These shortblocks with Power Ported Heads and cams easily can make well over 500 HP naturally aspirated and much higher with forced induction and optional lower compression pistons. Most customers with forced induction are realizing HP ranges from 600 to 1000 plus (specific part combos required).
The short block assembly is one of the most critical procedures in any engine build.
No one understands that better than Power Ported Performance.

In an industry where close is good enough, PPP takes a different approach. We believe the best method is a solid foundation. If the block and short block assembly is done right, then bolt on power upgrades can be comfortably added in the future. As your desire for performance increases, the money can be spent on the upgrade and not on the short block again.

All of our builds start with bare 6.1 blocks from Mopar. This is the same block that is running in excess of 1000+hp in other vehicles across the country. The crank is micropolished using a 15 micron belt, cleaned and checked. With all of our blocks being align honed, the bearing bores for the crank are perfectly straight and sized to match the crank journal diameters. The align honing is a step that the majority of industry chooses to skip due to added costs.

All of the bearings are remeasured for thickness and matched to each journal/bore combination to achieve perfect clearance. No plastigage is used, due to inaccurate reading.

No short cuts are taken due to the rod being the second highly stressed part in the engine (behind the valve spring). Each rod is inspected, re-torqued for repeatability, and sized for exact clearance.

Whether you choose a shelf stock or custom piston, we can provide it. Each piston is remeasured, pin fitted and inspected. The cylinders are torque plate honed to fit each piston. Each piston ring is file-fitted to the cylinder it is going in for an exact ring gap to minimize leakage.

The assembly is done one at a time using dedicated tooling and inspected after each step. The same dedication goes into a street engine as goes into our race only engines. It is possible to throw the parts together and run for a while, just as you can drive on a bent rim if you put enough weights on it, but we choose to do it right the first time for maximum horsepower and durability.

Power Ported LLC shortblocks come standard with Durabond camshaft bearings and Cleavite Main and Rod Bearings.

The pistons offer excellent skirt wear and minimal noise or rock. The valve pockets are radiused for detonation resistance and increased flow around the valves. Skirt coatings for lower friction, reduced noise, and superior life.

While our shortblocks may cost less than the competition, you get more for less as we deliver excellence, use durable industry respected and recognized parts and we stand behind every single shortblock that goes out the door.

How much HP gain over a stock 6.1 if I were to bolt on all my stock stuff? By stock stuff I mean heads, cam, intake. Also would I need a new or reprogrammed computer/tune?

Depending on elevation and engine temp it could be anywhere from 50-75HP and that's being modest.. From there you would have a solid foundation of much higher gains down the road. The experience would be the front end lifting up as you put your foot into the accelerator and a launch that you don't feel now... This block is capable of so so much...

#1 can this be implanted in a 2006-2010 SRT8 without major reworking?

#2 If i could do that...what would be the benefit of doing so?

1- Yes you can drop this shortblock into your SRT8 without any major reworking... depending on your mileage there will be some things you might want to change out.. i.e. pushrods, lifters...etc.

2- I see that your ride is supercharged... this block is capable of up to 1000 HP which in your case I would recommend a lower compression rotating assembly..

This deal is too sweet to pass up as you get to KEEP your CORE...

Thanks for the offer. However, I'm thinking of either a Tesla Model S or a 2012 SRT8 300c.
Just got a Jaguar XJ-L to replace an S550.
