5.7 Road Warrior Dyno Results

First, this was in a quadcab 4x4 truck with no mods other than a superchips controller. At 6000rpm, there is a gain of 40.43 rwhp and
35.36 rwtq. Calculating the trucks 25% drivetrain loss, thats 54hp and 47tq increase over stock. he has had the cam in for 3 weeks with no stalling and no codes. Again, superchips being the only other mod. I dont think I have ever seen a tq curve so flat for so long.

Very nice.

What's this run price wise? Any other suggested mods (long/short headers, cat back)?

I'm guessing it has a nice idle since it's called the road warrior, correct?

What's the price point? I'm interested.

the cam is $450. No other mods needed. this dyno was done only with a superchips programmer. I would prefer the bg flash over the superchips, but they will both work well. It has a stock like idle and isnt throwing any codes in the truck.

Good info, I'm planning on coming to the shindig you're hosting. We'll have to talk about it then.

Jeremy, what year was the truck? How much did the driver notice after the upgrades...and how much would you expect a shop to perform that work on a Ram truck?

One of these days you're going to get me... I just love the stuff you put out and your customer service.

Link worked for me, this is what it said:

------

Dartboy installed our road warrior cam and will be doing an after dyno soon. Here are some of his messages he sent to me.

" am starting to actually remember that I like having more power, so ya I have about 100 miles on it and it seems to drive good. No codes yet, fuel trim seemed out there though so it might throw a rich code, but if it hasn't yet... It idles well once it learned for about a minute holding it @ 2000 RPM while it was running like crap. Also hard to tell yet but fuel mileage is as good as it has ever been if not better. I will see how busy the dyno is this week and I will look out for a cooler day in the weather, to try to match my first conditions, it was about 75-80(actually hotter than it has been the last few days)."

"till running good. It feels strong so I suspect the power increase is pretty good, I don't have a very good "butt dyno" and believe that it is hard to feel even a 10% increase in power which I am sure this is close to. My girlfriend says it feels a lot faster, so maybe her butt dyno works?? I got decent wheel spin during kickdown at around 40 getting on the freeway, thought that was pretty cool. Off idle seems just as good as before so no losses down low that I can feel. Cant wait to dyno but I didn't get a date yet."

As of today, there are still no codes. He has no tuning either. I am attaching his before dyno. His mods are Superchips, Aero Turbine Muffler, and Airram jet stream. His after dyno will include those mods along with the 5.7 road warrior and 6.1 pushrods.

I would like to see 315+ rwhp which would be a 30rwhp increase with no tuning other than superchips. This is also a 4x4 quadcab.

Thanks, T1000. I have a 5.7 'non' MSD and am looking for more power and torque. I've heard good things from the cams and I think Jeremy at PPP is the best to deal with.
