300C OUT got a Crossfire as a rental

My e shift is not working! will DOWN-SHIFT but wont UP-SHIFT.
Dont know what happend, suddenly noticed i was on 4th gear and by hitting the shift knob right way and wont up-shift, had to put car on N and back to D so gearing will be fine. Car does up shift automatically though.??? Dint hesitate and took it to the dealer.
Drop it off the dealer, they gave me a rental car (Enterprise) and the guys hooked it up, they made me choose beetween a Croosfire and a Infinniti FX , took the +fire, dont like it that much, this car is over reved i think, and very small, Im only 5-8 its its tight in there, to much plastic, nothing like the 300C, i was very disapointed, i should have taken the FX.
I will let you all know what happend to the 300C when i get it.
Later...

Similar thing happened to me. I was either stuck in 3rd or 4th gear. Car would not up shift. Slap stick would not work at all. Fixed the problem by pulling off the road and turning the car off/on. Never happened again.

Joey I saw in my owner's manual where it actually tells you to do that if your transmission quits shifting!....wow.. It's like when the Computer Tech guys just tell you to 'reboot' if your PC locks up....crazy!

Back when we first picked up the car, Dad got to take my baby for a few spins and it happened... not once, twice.
We narrowed it down to
1. The computer getting used to my driving style, and being confused with a different driver...

or

2. Slight inclines

The first time, it happened during a highway onramp during rush hour... sort of annoying, but I was glad I'd taken a browse through the manual to know that something wasn't terribly wrong.

It's two days away from my two month delivery anniversary with nearly 5k on the odometer, and I still haven't had any trouble of my own. Wait and see, I guess.
