That's a big positive for them; they could have just shrugged and ignored it. Props to them for owning up, and paying up.

Folks, it does not matter where you take your beloved 2 tons of steel, aluminum and RubberMaid™, it's the people that matter. I've taken SRT products to the dealership only to have them put the oil drain plug back on with an impact hammer and strip it. I've had "high-quality, stellar reputation" places forget to put the oil cap back on. I've had "the best place in town" scuff my rims.

If the people who work there are friendly, and above all else car people, they will always treat your baby like their baby.

All that being said, when I'm feeling too lazy to do it myself, I take the beast to the local WalMart for the simple reason they do a full walk around before and after, and treat my car like their car. I've had the fellows point out rock chips that are barely there, and I've already touched up! They also do my tire rotations. If I could tip them (against store policy) I would.

It's the people, not the place that should always be checked out.

It's good to see you've had a positive experience. I'm not getting on them. I do applaud him for telling the truth. I guess that may be one of the big reasons I kept calm instead of flipping out.
