WTF is there Problem, They got some Nerve.

Well I just want to let everyone know my 1st, well 2nd dealer experience, but my real problem is at the end of this post.

I first brought my C to the local dealer for the alignment, brake pedal clicking, and the transmission delays.
The first dealer said the alignment was fine, but meanwhile when he test drove it he had to constantly tap the wheel to keep it straight.
The brake pedal clicking he said he couldnt do anything because it only happened sometimes.
The transmission he said was normal because the transmission computer is electronical.
This guy is full of ****.

I than brought my car to a different dealer and they took my car with no questions asked. I was sent to enterprise and they gave me a Silverado for a week and a half (why so long, I dno).

I got a call from the dealer and he told me to pick up the car and bring it back 2 days later because he said when he plugged my car up to the computer that there were codes coming up and he thought it was from the remote start that they installed so they disconnected it when they gave it back to me for the 2 days.

So I go pick up my car and since they had it for so long I needed a car wash so I got one locally. After the man was drying my car I noticed a DIESEL scratch on the rear bumper, and WTF.

I brang the car back and told him about the scratch and he said ok, we will take car of it. Now I got a Nissan Sentra.

I get a phone call a couple days later that my car is ready but I have to bring it back again for the scratch and to hook back up my remote start.
I go and pick up my car today and while im waiting at a light I look up at my visor and I notice something missing. Im like WTF, where is my good luck money. I have money all over my car, but I had to 20 dollar bills and I kept in on the driver side visor and one was missing.

Right away I call up the dealer and ask him what kind of low life losers do you have working there. The Manager Dan is very apologetic and tells me he will put it in the computer about what happened next time so that they can take care of me. Meanwhile, its not the point about the money, its the principle that i was invaded by a 5 Star Dealer and my Service Rep was extremely helpful. The Manager than tells me they are not responsible for stuff left in the car, but am I suppose to take down every bill every time I goto the dealer, but he said hes sorry and will do what he can.

For everyone, please take EVERYTHING out of your car including your floor mats when you goto your dealer cause there will always be that 1 ******* at every dealer.
Just so everyone knows, this dealer was in Bay Ridge in Brooklyn NY. Im not bad mouthing the dealer, Im just saying that there are theives in the service area, but the customer service there was overall good.

I will update this thread when I go back to the dealer this Sat.

I'm in no way excusing someone stealing your money, but ....come on...what were you thinking? I would never have left that temptation up there. Too many people have access to your car so there's no way to say whether it was the tech, the service writer, or the lot kid who took it thru the wash bay (assuming you got a complimentary car wash out of the deal)

And what's a "diesel" scratch?

Well I didnt want to touch the money because it was given for good luck and I wanted to leave it there for as long as I can, but since they stole it already, I guess this is where I have to take them down.

As for the "diesel" scratch, They put a 3-4 inch scratch and another half inch scratch that you can see underneath the paint.

Did they at least take care of the 3 issues you had: brakes, transmission and alignment to your satisfaction? I'm sure you will be getting a survey from Chrysler on whether you were satisfied with Bay Ridges service.

The reason I ask is if your talking about, Bay Ridge Chrysler Jeep Dodge on 5th. Ave, is because this is where I picked up my 300. I would like to get an idea how the service is on semi major issues like you experienced. I've been back once for an oil change, and that went OK.

In the past, I've always had problems with dealerships regarding service in the 5 boroughs. I've had a lot more luck with purchasing and servicing cars at Long Island dealerships, they don't seem to have the fu*k you city attitude. I'll see what happens with this car, if anything has changed in the last 10 years. Good luck with your ride.

Well Joe,
NONE of the issues have been fixed, but i feel more power in my pick ups, pluys I went back to the dealership Sat and they gave me another loaner (05 Maxima, Nice Ride) and the Manager was very apologetic and said my next service will be no charge.
He was a New Manager and was a very nice guy.
Overall the service so far is not that good because my problems are still occuring, but since i am dealing wit the manager, it is alot better.
