chrome exterior door trim issue

i saw someone posted about this before, but havent been able to locate the thread in search. anyway, in opening my rear door it caught on the chrome trim, bent it, and scratched my door a little. i remember hearing this was has happened alot and i wonder if the dealer fixes this as a warranty item.

YES THEY DO, LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THAT THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THE CAR AND YOU KNOW PEOPLE WHO HAVE HADE IT FIXED UNDER WARRANTY, IT TOOK MY BROTHER ON HIS 300C ABOUT A MONTH OF BS BEFORE THEY WOULD FIX IT.
