Catching the water in tranny problem early?

Hi All!
Yes I am new here, but I have done som reading up on the 300c.
I am in the market for a 300c (in Europe all 300īs are called 300c) and I am trying to figure out what to by.
Yesterday and this morning I had a demo car from my dealer (hemi touring)
i did like 400 km!

I noticed a strange behavior with the transmission.
When going 50-60 Mph I noticed some times that the rev counter shoved 100 to 300 jump in RPM, with out any input from me or the road (smoth level no cruise).
It would last for 1-2 seconds, the the revs dropped back.
Also the trans seemed un certain at times what to do, keep the gear or shift down or up, made no sense ref to driver input.

My questions:
Are my observations normal on a 300c Hemi?

If not, could this be the water issue, in an early stage or what do you say?

I might add that I hve a fair bit of experience with cars, among other things working as a car-factory test driver for 5 years and also as a service trainer.
(Lacking experience on 300cīs though)

Ps, I examined the car underneath, and sure enough the AC condensation water was pouring one or two inches from the oil stick tube hole in the trans. Ds

Thanks all for a wery informative site
